Equal Number in Education

Talking about this motion, I am totality disagree with university should accept equal numbers of male and female students in every subject. For me every single person in this world have same access in education and free for choosing what major and university that they want. Base on that also every university can make the own criteria or requirement for every people who want join in university, its include also the regulation about how much quota available in that university. But if every university should accept equal number of male and female in every subject for me it will limit the human right of people for free to choose education and majoring  what that they want.

On the other hand, in reality female and male has own characteristic in case of study. Example, the number of female mostly in majoring related in education (early childhood, primary school, art, and health (nurses). The number of male students mostly in majoring related in engineering, sport science, law, military and agriculture. This indicate that every major have specific criteria that student needed for study. Female don't like study in major mostly need physic skills like sport science, as well as male student don't like study in much using good feeling in practicum like in nurse and be a teacher in early childhood.

My next reason why I do disagree with this motion is because we cannot make equal number of male and female students in every subject, it will be hardly to achieve and also it will make our education system ambiguous. In my opinion,every university has own criteria what student look like than can be they student in collage. But that all not mean the number of male and female student must equal, during the student has the criteria and requirement to be their student every university must accommodate it until the quota that available fully by not consider how much ration between male and female student.

The last thing is, I can't catch up what the essential think why female and male student must equal in every subject. If this motion purpose to push the number of woman to continue in study I think this not the best decision that to be taken. If to increase the woman participation in every aspect in job career, I think this not the best solution also because every people have own human right for choose and pick what kind of job that related on their ability to be a professional worker. If we push people study in majoring that not suitable with their passion, it will be exacerbating because university produce people with not their own passion.

The conclusion for all my argument and opinion is we must respect to every human right that human have include the right for free choosing university and major that suitable with their passion because every people has different passion and we cannot push them to be what we want.
